Church Translation uses advanced AI to bridge communication gaps in real-time. To ensure a seamless experience for your congregation, it is helpful to understand how languages are managed across the three stages of the platform: Dictate mode, Translation, and Audio output.

🎤 Dictate Language (Admin App)

The Dictate Language is the language spoken by the pastor or speaker during the service. The Admin app uses speech-to-text technology to transcribe this audio into the system.

  • Primary Function: Captures the speaker's live audio for processing.

  • Operational Tip: You can switch the Source Language instantly in Translation Settings if you have a guest speaker or a bilingual service.

  • Dictation Modes: Choose between Automatic (microphone input) or Manual (typing or using pre-loaded transcripts).

🌎 Translation Languages

Once the source audio is captured, the AI generates written translations. These are the languages your congregants will read as subtitles on their mobile devices.

  • Primary Function: Provides real-time text accessibility for members.

  • Reach: We support over 127 written languages, allowing you to welcome a diverse range of nationalities simultaneously.

  • Notification System: If a member joins and requires a language that is not currently active, a notification will appear in your Admin Translation page.

🎧 Audio Output (Mobile Text-to-Speech)

The Mobile App allows members to listen to the translated service through their headphones. The system converts the translated text into a natural-sounding voice in real-time.

  • Primary Function: Supports those who prefer hearing the message in their native tongue.

  • Requirement: Members simply tap the Listen icon on their device to activate the audio stream.

  • Availability Note: While text translation is available for all supported languages, high-quality audio (Text-to-Speech) is available for the majority of our most-used languages.
